Education leads to understanding

Understanding leads to empathy. Empathy leads to hope. Hope leads to recovery. Partnering with the state of Indiana, the goal of the stigma reduction campaign was to increase the public’s understanding of three key messages: Opioid use disorder is a disease, there is treatment, and recovery is possible. Through the dissemination of these key messages we successfully reduced the stigma in Indiana. This campaign began in 2018 and is still running today.
